Daily Dinner – Sicilian Spaghetti

IMG_3544 Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset Having never eaten prawn pasta in my awesome life until a couple of weeks ago, I’m now doing another post in a row with rosy prawn spaghetti, this time with lovely golden crispy breadcrumbs on top. This time it was one I’d seen on Jamie’s 15 minute meals. I had some garlic/burning issues resulting in a smoky house and weird tastes. But otherwise Mina, it was alright. But it was super easy to make so will definitely try this one again.

Note: some friends added in some words to this post after I’d written it – can you guess which words?!

One of the best things about our holiday was the clear starry skies every night. After a few attempts I was pretty chuffed to get a couple of pictures of them – they’re pretty grainy unfortunately but since this was the first time I’d ever managed to get a photo of stars, I was pretty pleased.

I was quite excited when I saw a recipe for Quesadilla Pizzas (or Pizzadillas) on Serious Eats last week, and since I had lots of lovely leftover tomato sauce from my pasta the other day, I decided to have a go.

It was all quite messy and there was a fair bit of cleaning needed afterwards (melted cheese EVERYwhere), but other than that it made a pretty quick and outrageously tasty lunch. Have a go!

Paper Cut

This is a paper cut I did for my friend Hannah’s birthday. Since a few people couldn’t work it out (including Hannah), I will tell you that the thing she is sitting on is a roof, and the tree spells out her name.

first day

Had another golden start to this year of uni. Managed to miss my finance lecture due to a combination of me not realising that my watch was an hour behind and also my belief that there were two hours between 2pm and 3pm- not true it turns out. To add salt to the wound, I had walked another student to the lecture I was meant to be at, thinking it was another lecture. It’s going well.
