Going home definitely has its benefits…

I’ve only been home for three days and already I’ve had two incredible meals by my big brother (you can see his blog here). He has a taste for posh expensive food that takes all day to cook and in my eyes that is a very beautiful thing.

This is what we had yesterday for lunch- sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and chips (he has his own deep fat fryer, I am so jealous).

And this is the dinner I’ve just eaten which was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth: braised lamb with potato gratin, broad bean and pea salad, and celeriac purée. He was literally cooking since 10 o’ clock this morning and wow it was so worth it.
